Shelly Richardson, Family Law Paralegal



Shelly Richardson earned her Associate Degree from Heald College, a WASC-accredited institution, in 2012. Since beginning her career in family law that same year, she has developed more than 14 years of experience assisting attorneys and clients through a wide range of family law matters. 

Throughout her career, Shelly has worked on cases in numerous California counties, giving her extensive familiarity with varying local rules, court procedures, and filing requirements. Her experience includes supporting clients through divorce, child custody and visitation disputes, child and spousal support matters, property division, post-judgment proceedings, and other complex family law issues. 

In addition to her extensive paralegal experience, Shelly has served in both office management and administrative leadership roles within law firms. She brings several years of experience in accounts receivable and client billing. Her diverse background allows her to effectively support both the legal and business aspects of a successful family law practice. 

Known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and compassionate approach, Shelly is dedicated to helping clients navigate the legal process with confidence and understanding. She takes pride in providing exceptional support to both clients and attorneys while ensuring cases move efficiently through every stage of litigation. 

When working with clients, Shelly strives to make what is often a difficult and emotional process as smooth and manageable as possible, providing responsive communication and dependable support throughout their family law matter.
